Gippsland is a rural region in Victoria, Australia that is broken up into 5 shires. East Gippsland, Wellington, Latrobe City, Baw Baw and South Gippsland.

Gippsland is east of Victoria’s capital, Melbourne and includes the Great Dividing Range to the north and Bass Strait to the south.

Gippsland is best known for its primary production including farming, mining and power generation and many tourist destinations including the Gippsland Lakes, Wilsons Promontory, historic Walhalla, the Baw Baw snow fields, the Strzelecki Ranges and Phillip Island. Gippsland is also well known for it’s high quality produce.
